Abstract Submission Guidlines

GENERAL DISCLOSURES

We kindly request that you review these guidelines thoroughly before submission. To maintain the esteemed standards of ICIMI, abstracts failing to meet these technical specifications may be subject to immediate administrative rejection.

• Submission Authority: The Lead Author (Corresponding Author) must have the authority to submit the research and must have obtained explicit consent from all the co-authors.

• Supervision: Undergraduate researchers must include a Senior Author (PI/Supervisor). Graduate-level researchers (including Master’s, PhD, and postgraduate medical trainees) are exempt from this requirement and may submit as independent investigators.

• Copyright & Fees: Upon submission, authors agree to all copyright transfer terms. Publication in the indexed conference proceedings is provided free of charge for all accepted presenters.

• Plagiarism Policy: ICIMI maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All submissions are screened using anti-plagiarism software.

Academic Standing

ICIMI 2026 is an inclusive platform for the medical field. We accept research conducted during:

• Undergraduate degrees (Medicine)

• Graduate-entry medical/healthcare programs

• Master’s and PhD programs

• Professional degrees (Medicine)

1. Scientific Scope

Abstracts must be written in English, not exceeding 300 words (plus 5 words for sub-headings). We accept:

• Original Research

• Case Reports (Consent form required)

• Systematic Reviews

• Literature Reviews (Narrative reviews must include a clear methodology section)

Thematic tracks are defined according to the themes listed on the website

2. PRESENTATION MODALITIES

All ICIMI 2026 presentations will be conducted via our ZOOM Links that will be sent out after pass purchase.

Poster Session - 4 Minutes (presentation) - 2 Minutes (Q&A)

Oral Session - 7–10 Minutes (presentation) - 5 Minutes (Q&A)

Evaluation Criteria

The ICIMI Jury will evaluate submissions based on a standardized marking sheet to ensure consistent and fair assessment :

• Scholarly Quality: Logical aims, robust methodology, and statistical results.

• Communication: Confidence, English proficiency, and the ability to synthesize complex data for a non-expert audience.

• Visual Design: Aesthetic appeal and professional balance of text versus data visualization (figures/tables).

3. ATTENDANCE & PUBLICATION

The Indexed Proceedings

Accepted abstracts are eligible for publication in the Proceedings Abstract Publication. Final publication requires submission of a signed publication consent form.

Mandatory Engagement Policy

Your abstract will be published and your diploma issued only if all conference requirements, such as active participation, are completed:

• All participants must attend a minimum of three (3) presentation sessions per day for the entire 3-day duration of the conference.

• Attendance will be verified through the virtual platform’s analytics. Failure to meet this engagement requirement will result in exclusion from the final proceedings and

forfeiture of your certificate.

4. IMPORTANT DATES

• Abstract Submission: Between 19 of September and 30 of October

• Decision Notification: No later than November 8, 2026.

• Materials Deadline: For accepted Oral Presentations and Posters, slides must be emailed to info@icimi.net by November 15, 2026.

• Software Requirements: Presentations must be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint and align with one of the thematic tracks listed on our website.
